Equal Opportunities and Inclusion

All children and adults, regardless of ability, additional needs, age, race and gender will have equal opportunities to access Forest School, as far as it is possible to do so safely.

In particular, attention will be given to the following:

Access: If a child or parent has mobility difficulties or any other physical impairment, adaptations to the sessions will be made where possible.  The Forest is naturally an uneven place, with hills and dips, pot holes, and many other slip and trip hazards.  We will make our best effort to try to be as inclusive as we can, within the constraints of the natural environment.

Activities: Where possible, adaptations will be made to activities so that they are accessible to all. This may mean adapting the heights of activities to meet the requirements of individual children.
