Terms and Conditions when booking sessions

We understand that it is not always possible to keep our intentions, but to keep it fair for all we have a strict booking and cancellation policy in place.

Please note that we do not make any exceptions to this policy.

 

Advance booking

All sessions must be booked in advance. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the session starts.

 

Booking confirmation

All bookings are only confirmed when full payment has been made. This must be done online via the website. Our booking system is called ‘Bookwhen’ and it will direct you to PayPal for payment.

 

Transfers

All bookings are non-transferable to other days and to other people.  You are making a booking for a specific session on a specific day.

 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a session please email us at info@wildchildforestschool.co.uk at least 3 days before the session is due to take place. Refunds for cancelled sessions will be given at our discretion.

 

Missed Classes

We are sorry but missed classes are not refundable.

 

Discounts

Our sibling discount is for siblings only. Siblings under the age of 6 months can attend for free.

 

Changes to your sessions

The circumstances, which might cause us to need to cancel a session, are weather, inadequate number of bookings, or illness of the Forest School Leader.

1. Weather: The only 2 weather conditions that would cause us to cancel would be high winds or thunderstorms.  If these are likely, please look at our Facebook page for announcements. Decisions on these weather conditions may not be made until the morning of the session, so please check Facebook if in doubt.  

2. Inadequate number of bookings: In the event that not enough places are booked for a particular date and we need to cancel, we will contact you by phone or email to let you know.

3. Illness of the Forest School Leader: Every effort will be made to find an alternative leader for the day, but if this is not possible, we will let you know by phone or email that the session is cancelled.

If we cancel a class, you will be offered a refund.

 

Waitlists

If you have been put onto a waiting list for a session and a place becomes available, our booking system ‘Bookwhen’ will automatically contact you by email to see if you want the space.  The system will allow you 2 hours to respond to the offer, and if you do not reply within this time the system will automatically move onto the next person on the waiting list.
