Blog Post 1 – 01/05/19

I am so excited that we are ready to start our Forest School sessions, it has been a bit of a whirlwind getting ready! I am a trained Forest School leader and had the idea of running sessions for parents and carers locally at the end of last year. ‘Wild Child’ suddenly took off and gathered momentum a few weeks ago when a couple of mums asked on Loughton facebook if there were any such groups locally.  So I decided to do something about it and here we are! I strongly believe that children need lots of time and space to be themselves and to be able to play and explore outside. Only last night I was watching ‘Planet Child’ and heard ‘Playing is the ultimate superfood for a child’s brain’ – I can’t agree more! I look forward to meeting you all at the sessions.
